Work Location Revere, Massachusetts, United States of America Hours 40 hours per week Pay $22.50 - $29.00 USD per hour Line of Business Personal & Commercial Banking Job Description The Retail Banker I serves as a customer liaison, delivering TD’s brand promise through financial expertise and consultative advice. The role supports business growth by identifying appropriate TD solutions to help customers meet their financial goals and enhance their relationship with TD. Responsibilities Proficiently handle products, services, and routine transactions, identifying opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the full product suite, services, and processes, managing tasks of low to moderate complexity. Build and nurture customer relationships, actively listen to customer needs, and recommend suitable solutions or referrals. Provide product recommendations that support customers through life events and optimize financial outcomes. Use customer relationship management tools to conduct assessments and lead outbound sales activities. Resolve customer issues independently, escalating when necessary. Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate application intake. Maintain active registration status with NMLS. Education & Experience High‑school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of customer or sales experience (volunteer, military, or other). Teller experience and completion of teller training upon hire preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to schedule, prioritize work, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Notary license (preferred). Customer Accountabilities Deliver legendary customer experience through relationship building and service. Advocate customers’ financial confidence, provide resolution, and share proactive insights. Execute operational behaviors that enhance customer experience. Manage teller transactions, monitor fraud mitigation, and adhere to operational policies. Act as brand champion and education resource for self‑service options. Shareholder Accountabilities Ensure compliance with operational guidelines, bank secrecy, and anti‑money‑laundering regulations. Support daily store operations and risk framework alignment. Escalate high‑risk or non‑standard transactions as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation and due diligence in all transactions. Regularly walk around store, stand, and sit frequently.
