Collaborating with your team, you support new teammate onboarding, foster a welcoming environment, and uphold company policies and safety best practices.A Day In The Life As A Sales AssociateDrive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, sharing and demonstrating product knowledge and product expertiseGreet and receive customers in a welcoming manner, respond to customer questions, process payments, and involve higher level management as appropriateCommunicate and have awareness of applicable promotions, offers, loyalty programs, and other initiatives to customersPossess and demonstrate excellent service and company standards in selling, customer service, visual merchandising and teamworkLead by example and support store management in holding self and others accountable for store profitability and operational excellencePromote the brand by engaging customers in creative activities and demonstrationsAssist with ensuring product and displays on the sales floor are stocked appropriately and available for customers to purchaseEngage in, maintain and support store safety standards and trainingMaintain an awareness of loss prevention, security and safety following the guidelines provided by management or the Human Resources Department and/or as outlined in the Associate Policy GuideProcess all incoming and outgoing packages, including customer curbside pick-up orders, ship from store, buy online pickup in store, in a timely manner, as neededAssist in preparing the stockroom for inventory and perform assigned inventory duties, as neededPerform prompt and accurate stock checks, while maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom, as neededExecute and maintain the visual merchandising standards of the sales floor to engage customers and associates with the product, as needed.What You'll Bring To The TableExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and other associates.General office equipment, including computer and printer, Point of Sale (POS) system, AS400 system, company email system, telephone/intercom system, copier, fax machine, SKU and tagger guns, tape machine, small hand tools, ladders, step stools, hand truck/dolly, baler, calculator, electronic two-way radio with earpiece.Ability to work in a flexible environment, shift quickly as our business evolves, and focus on continuous learning.Engage in, maintain and support store safety standards and training.Demonstrate creative problem-solving to maintain a solutions-oriented and teamwork focus.We'd love to hear from you if you have…Customer service experience preferredRetail experience preferredEuromarket Designs, Inc., which does business as Crate and Barrel and CB2, will be referred to as "the Company".
