Location: Orrville, OH

Schedule: 3:00 PM-11:00PM

Overtime: 15–20 hours per week (required)

Pay: $21.50/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking  Material Handler to join our team on 1st shift. This is a physically demanding role that involves both indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions. Candidates must be comfortable with heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, and working in a dusty/dirty environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and unload pallets delivered to the work area
• Perform “cut and dump” tasks: open damaged bags and empty contents into containers for reblend
• Move undamaged bags from incoming pallets and restack them onto new pallets
• Ensure organic materials flow properly through shakers
• Notify heavy equipment operators when shakers need to be refilled
• Perform housekeeping duties including scraping, sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up
• Maintain finishing screens by scraping to ensure proper product flow
• Prevent material buildup under conveyors, aisles, and catwalks
• Assist with small bag line operations as needed
• Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel
• Meet quality and quantity standards throughout the shift

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor setting
• Exposure to dust, dirt, and varying weather conditions
• Fast-paced, physically intensive work

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to stand on your feet all day
• Willingness to work 15–20 hours of overtime weekly
• Comfortable working in dusty, dirty, and outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
