The Foundry is a New York-based team of entrepreneurs, product managers, operators, and strategists whohave a proven track record of turning ideas into successful new growth businesses. In April 2016, EY acquired this team out of Highnote Foundry, a venture capital and venture services firm, in order to build and launch new businesses for EY Americas Tax. EY Americas Tax is a leader in corporate tax services and is aggressively pursuing innovation to define the tax function of the future for the world’s largest multi-national corporations. The opportunity As a Strategy Manager, you will work with senior Foundry team members to evaluate and pursue new growth and margin opportunities across EY’s Tax business. Your key responsibilities You will be responsible for analysing market dynamics and business trends, developing growth strategies, and presenting recommendations for how to advance them. This will involve framing problems, breaking them down into component parts, and evaluating each methodically and thoroughly. You will conduct primary and secondary research, create financial models, evaluate startups and disruptive technologies, and help develop business cases in support of new opportunities. As growth opportunities are prioritized and funded, you will manage discrete workstreams to support the development of the new businesses. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,900 to $231,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $151,200 to $262,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
