Network Engineer II, hybrid role, supporting the Eden Prairie, MN office Network Engineer (Junior to Mid Level) Location: Hybrid, Eden Prairie, MN (Must live within commuting distance of the office due to a hybrid arrangement) Must be a US Citizen Background check and drug test are required Overview We are seeking a junior to mid level Network Engineer with a solid Cisco networking foundation and approximately three years of hands on enterprise networking experience. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands on network engineering experience Strong knowledge of Cisco switching and routing Experience supporting enterprise Cisco network environments Proven troubleshooting and problem solving skills Experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center Working knowledge of Cisco FMC/FTD firewalls and firewall policy management Familiarity with Cisco ISE, including 802.1X, TACACS+, segmentation, and posture Experience supporting Cisco SD WAN environments Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications Palo Alto GlobalProtect and Prisma Access Cisco Security Cloud Nexus Dashboard ThousandEyes Azure or AWS networking Basic Python scripting Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure Configure and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and SD WAN solutions Manage firewall policies and network security best practices Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform system upgrades Maintain network documentation and follow change management procedures Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve network performance, reliability, and security Contract to hire arrangement, which is already in place. payrate range, $50.00 to $55.00 It is the policy of GCR to provide equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran or disabled status, or genetic information.
