Senior Buyer

Spartan Tool is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support procurement activities for our sewer and drain cleaning equipment manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring on‑time, cost‑effective delivery of components that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop sourcing strategies and manage supplier relationships Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long‑term agreements Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery) Resolve supply and quality issues in collaboration with internal teams Support new product development and cost‑reduction initiatives Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Experience with ERP/MRP systems Preferred Background in industrial equipment or durable goods manufacturing Knowledge of metals, machining, or electromechanical components CPSM, CPIM, or similar certification What We Offer A comprehensive Benefits Package that includes: Medical/Dental/Vision‑with HSA (company provides yearly funding).
