Motion Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace and defense organization in Medley, FL on a Buyer / Procurement Specialist contract opportunity.

This is a hands-on purchasing role supporting supplier management, PO execution, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, delivery tracking, and procurement operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This is a great fit for someone with prior buying/procurement experience who enjoys working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage purchase orders from RFQ through delivery
  • Analyze supplier quotes and support negotiations
  • Track open orders and supplier delivery performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams on schedule changes and escalations
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers when needed
  • Support procurement KPIs including supplier OTD and cost savings

What We’re Looking Fo r

  • 2+ years of purchasing/buying experience
  • SAP experience required
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience managing suppliers and procurement activities
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Aerospace or manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship required
