LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse

Position Overview This role involves providing patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, within the scope of license. Key Responsibilities Assist in patient assessments and ensure patient well-being. Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions. Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, self-care, resources, and follow-up care. Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensure as an LPN by the Alabama Board of Nursing. BLS certification within 30 days of hire, from AHA or Red Cross. Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent.
