Radiology / Cardiology / Electrophysiology Tech

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology (EP) experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Radiology Technologist background required
Experience assisting with electrophysiology procedures and cardiac rhythm management
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology equipment, and procedural workflows
Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures and cardiac interventions
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for EP studies and treatments
Operate radiology and electrophysiology equipment in accordance with departmental protocols
Monitor patient status and assist with procedural documentation
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to patient safety standards
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and cardiovascular team members to ensure efficient patient care
Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of equipment and supplies

Assignment Details:

No floating required
No on-call requirements
No weekend requirements
Expected patient ratio: 1:1

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in an Electrophysiology Lab
Strong cardiovascular and cardiac rhythm management knowledge
Experience in a hospital-based EP or Cath Lab setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
