ER RN Job Details – Boston, MA
- Location: Boston, MA 02114 (Massachusetts healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, Emergency Department
- Position Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/5/2025 – End: 1/3/2026)
- Weekly Hours: 36 or 48 hours
- Shifts: 12 Hour Nights; Day/Night rotating shifts
- Schedule: Every other weekend and holidays required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,880 – $2,020
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 4 years of RN experience in acute care or emergency nursing
- At least 1 year of travel nursing and Level 1 Trauma Center experience
- Emergency Room RN certification (preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Completion of all onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, skills checklist, etc.)
ER RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced emergency department
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions as needed
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Educate and support patients and families during critical situations
