Job Description

This Warehouse Associate role combines clerical receiving duties with hands-on kitting work in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will focus primarily on receiving incoming products, managing related documentation, and supporting inventory accuracy, while also contributing to kitting and general warehouse operations. The position offers a balanced mix of computer-based tasks and physical work, as well as occasional interaction with vendors regarding product orders.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming products and materials accurately, ensuring all deliveries match purchase orders and documentation.
• Perform shipping and receiving activities, including checking, labeling, and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Use warehouse computer systems to enter, update, and track receiving and inventory information; learn and follow established digital workflows.
• Handle a combination of computer-related and hands-on warehouse tasks, splitting time between desk work and physical duties.
• Communicate occasionally with vendors to clarify product orders, resolve discrepancies, and confirm delivery details.
• Support kitting operations by assembling components and materials according to specified requirements once trained.
• Use RF scanners to pick, pack, and track inventory items accurately within the warehouse.
• Assist with general labor tasks such as organizing stock, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and supporting team operations as needed.
• Contribute to inventory control by counting, verifying, and updating stock levels to maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with a small warehouse team, following established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure efficient daily operations.

• At least 1 year of receiving experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer use and comfort working in a computer-based warehouse system.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently to handle documentation and vendor communication.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse setting.
• Capability to perform general labor tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with picking and packing operations.
• Ability to use RF scanners for inventory and order processing.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory, documentation, and orders.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and team members.

• Kitting experience is a significant plus and highly valued for this role.
• Experience with inventory management and tracking systems.
• Exposure to vendor management or coordination in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Comfort working in both computer-based and physical warehouse tasks in roughly equal measure.

You will join a small, easy-going team where collaboration and a supportive atmosphere are part of everyday work. The location is accessible via public transportation, including bus service to the Commerce Blvd and Monarch Dr area, supporting a convenient and flexible commute.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime available. You will work as part of a close-knit team of approximately 10–12 people in a warehouse that is not climate controlled but tends to remain relatively cool inside. The role involves a mix of computer work and physical warehouse tasks, using RF scanners and standard warehouse equipment in a casual, practical setting suited to hands-on work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Liverpool, NY.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Liverpool,NY.
