Commercial Roofing General Manager

Rackley East Knoxville is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing General Manager to lead our Knoxville, TN operations. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the company's mission, objectives, and growth.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Plan and execute strategies for generating revenue and resources for the company.
• Approve and enforce operational procedures, policies, and standards.
• Review activity reports and financial statements to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Evaluate performance of key staff for compliance with company policies and achievement of objectives.
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Foster a positive work environment and contribute to effective problem-solving and team success.
• Meet regularly with company leadership to review operations and performance.
• Engage with clients, negotiate contracts, and support business development initiatives.
• Provide leadership to ensure company goals are met and core values are upheld.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of management experience in the commercial roofing industry, with comprehensive knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and customer relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Strong planning, organizational, and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve problems, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
