Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Greenville, NC Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,007 to $2,068 per week Shift: Nights – 3 days x 12 hours Contract: 13 weeks Start Date: 6/22/2026 About the Position Travel Respiratory Therapist assignment at a children’s hospital in Greenville, NC. Provide critical care for patients with severe respiratory conditions in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities include managing ventilators, performing respiratory assessments, and collaborating with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Manage and monitor ventilator settings for patients. Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments. Collaborate with nursing and medical teams. Implement evidence‑based respiratory therapies and protocols. Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records. Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Experience in adult or pediatric respiratory care. Minimum 3 years of experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU or PICU. Current NRP and PALS certifications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NPS and other advanced pediatric critical care certifications. Travel experience in a level 3 or 4 NICU/PICU setting.
