Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Icu

Location: Overland Park, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM Shift

Job Description: We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for the Cardiovascular ICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong ICU background, preferably with CVICU experience, and will be capable of providing top-tier patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry and vital signs.
Administer medications including pressors and positive inotropes.
Provide care for patients with chest tubes, pacemakers, and pericardial drains.
Assist in procedures such as ECMO cannulation and recovery from Cath/EP Lab.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active RN license and certifications in ACLS/BLS.
Telemetry and advanced critical care experience is required.
Previous charge nurse experience is highly desirable.
