Job Opportunity – OB/GYN Physician – Vermont

Start Date: August 15th, 2026 (flexible start dates available)

Location: Brattleboro, Vermont

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time locums position with 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm or 8pm-8am); flexible scheduling available with variable call rotation

Highlights:

• Full-spectrum women's health care including low and high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, and surgical procedures
• Collaborative practice environment with 1 full-time MD, 1 GYN-only MD, 4 Certified Nurse Midwives, and 1 PRN physician
• Well-equipped 10-room clinic with onsite lab, ultrasound, colposcopy, LEEP, and standard GYN equipment
• Manageable patient volume averaging 14-16 scheduled clinic patients per day
• 7-bed birthing center with Level I nursery; approximately 25% C-section rate
• Cerner Community Works EMR system; dedicated medical assistant and triage nurse support

Requirements:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
• Active Vermont state license or IMLC eligibility (or willing to obtain)
• Completion of accredited OB/GYN residency in the U.S. or Canada
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) required at presentation
• Proficiency in required OB procedures including low and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, VBACs, and 3rd/4th degree laceration repair
• Proficiency in required GYN procedures including office-based gynecology, open and laparoscopic surgery, and operative procedures
• Clean malpractice history preferred
