Richmond 100,000 – 130,000 ABOUT THE COMPANY A well-established and highly respected General Contractor within the commercial construction space is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Special Projects division. The company is known for delivering high-quality, fast-paced commercial work and maintaining a strong pipeline of diverse projects across the Richmond market. ABOUT THE ROLE As Project Manager within the Special Projects team, you will take ownership of tenant improvement (TI) and small ground-up construction projects based in Richmond, VA. This is a highly hands‑on, fast‑paced role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously. This position is 100% office‑based in Richmond with daily in‑person collaboration required. Key responsibilities include: Managing TI and small ground‑up commercial projects from start to finish Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, and field teams Overseeing budgets, schedules, and project delivery timelines Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Supporting client communication and maintaining strong relationships Driving project execution in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are met REQUIREMENTS 3–7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor Strong background in commercial TI and/or small ground‑up projects Ability to manage multiple fast‑moving projects simultaneously Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred REWARDS AND BENEFITS Competitive base salary in the range of $100,000 – $130,000, depending on experience Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution Paid time off and company holidays Strong pipeline of tenant improvement and small ground‑up commercial work across Richmond Long‑term career growth opportunities within a well‑established and respected General Contractor #J-18808-Ljbffr Cityscape Recruitment
