Shifts: Combination of 12-hour shifts per week, including one 0800-2030 shift

This contract role involves working within the HVI PrePost unit, focusing on phase 1 and phase 2 recoveries including moderate sedation. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Manage anesthesia recoveries and sedation for outpatient and inpatient cases
• Care for patients recovering from procedures like heart catheterizations and structural heart interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams handling EP studies, structural heart, vascular, thoracic, and CT surgery cases
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management
• Participate in team-based care coordination with Perioperative Care Assistants

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
• Cardiac experience preferred
