The selected candidate for this leadership opportunity will report to the Flying Test Bed IPT and serve as a fully integrated Supplier Management Team leader on a special program located in Melbourne, Florida.Due to the nature of the role, an on-site presence is required and cannot be performed remotely. The position will follow our 9/80 schedule and allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  The ideal candidate thrives on driving supplier outcomes, leading multidisciplined teams, navigating internal processes, communicating with customers, creating a work environment that engages employees, bringing clarity and clear direction to ambiguous situations, and excelling in the fundamentals of program execution and perceptive use of predictive metrics.The role is responsible for leading all execution elements of the assigned program including life cycle management, quality, cost, schedule, and technical performance and input to proposal development. Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Execute programs successfully by managing cost, schedule and technical performance objectivesEnsure contract compliance and execution of SSOW requirements including timely SDRL submittalsOversee program planning and execution through applicable phases including concept, exploration, engineering development, advanced development, production, sustainment, and retirement Meet company and customer requirements while balancing the multiple roles and differing requirementsMaintain close working relationships with engineering, operations, and suppliersMaintain collaborative relationships with local customers, while adhering to contract requirements and boundariesDeveloping new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plansEstablishing a program organization that effectively addresses customer requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizationsMeasuring and reporting program performanceDelivering presentations to customers, executive management and other program stakeholdersParticipating in the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditionCreation, review, and finalization of the program Statement of WorkIdentification, distribution, tracking, and completion of program requirementsEstablishment and management of the program and subordinate baselinesDevelopment and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and toolsIdentifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planningManaging Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE,CFE,etc.)Managing suppliers to meet program objectivesAdherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standardsEnsuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activitiesDevelopment and adherence to master plans and schedulesOur Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions Must have professional experience working with Program Management principles: managing projects, scheduling, budget management, etc. Experience in developing RIO metrics and briefings Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry The ability to travel domestically 10% of the time Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation), and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company Preferred Qualifications:Current TS/SCI and active Special Access Program (SAP) clearancesExperience on Commercial Derivative and Flying Test Bed R&D aircraft developmentExperience with Agile methodologies and tool suites to facilitate teamwork and efficiency#AS-FA3#BluePrimary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
