Customer Service Representative

Pay: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to support daily operations by delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and assisting customers with inquiries and issue resolution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing administrative tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment with diverse responsibilities.

• Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Review and reconcile daily activity reports and ensure data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot system and account issues while coordinating with internal departments for resolution.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify recurring issues or opportunities for process improvement.
• Support administrative functions, reporting activities, and operational projects.
• Assist with inventory tracking, vendor communication, and event-related coordination.
• Maintain accurate documentation and generate reports as needed.
• Support transportation, parking, and customer service initiatives.

• Previous customer service or administrative support experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience handling customer concerns professionally and effectively.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills are highly valued.

• Experience processing permits, registrations, or similar transactions.
• Familiarity with operations coordination, reporting, or inventory management.
• Experience with database or management software systems.
• Event coordination or vendor management experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Chicago,IL.
