Location: Mount Vernon, NY Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday | On-site

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children and young adults with neurodevelopmental differences. In this role, you will develop individualized treatment plans that promote sensory integration, emotional regulation, functional independence, and participation in educational activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress through session notes, progress reports, and treatment summaries.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Develop sensory diets, classroom strategies, and therapeutic recommendations.
• Train and support staff in implementing appropriate therapeutic techniques and adaptations.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active New York State Occupational Therapist license.
• Experience working with children or young adults; pediatric experience preferred.
• Knowledge of or interest in sensory integration and developmental therapy approaches.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
