Overview of Position Under direct supervision, provide quality clinical supervision and work direction to direct reports, delivering discipline‑specific treatment for children with developmental delays, disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Oversee all components of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs of your caseload, ensuring high quality and adherence to best‑practice guidelines. Essential Functions Facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), conduct behavior assessments, and serve as an Assessor when needed. Provide parent education, develop and deliver specific intervention activities, and act as a liaison between the organization, families, community, therapists, health care providers, etc. Conduct evaluations, case‑management reviews, quality assurance reviews, and audits as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director. Meet productivity requirements set forth in the annual budget. Lead and/or attend staff meetings. Prepare and provide specialized training and instructional materials, including staff development training, as assigned by the Regional Clinical Director. Ensure associate responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities are clearly defined and understood. Manage and evaluate the performance and productivity of associates in the assigned region. Provide training and onboarding for new associates; ongoing training to assigned Program Managers and Behavior Interventionists; and specialized training to associates preparing for various certifications. Work with the Regional Clinical Director and Human Resources in the recruitment/selection process of new program associates. Oversee associates involved in the recruitment/selection process as needed. Attend conferences and trainings to remain current regarding new research, current trends, and developments in autism, special education, and related fields. Function as a liaison between the organization, families, and other community agencies including regional centers, school programs, therapists, and health care providers, assisting with questions and concerns as they arise. Travel as required. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Master’s degree in ABA or related field. Must possess and maintain a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Must possess and maintain current CPR certification. Experience 2‑3 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi‑disciplinary team setting. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches that benefit children with ASD, familiar with current related research findings. Expertise in interventions based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, including Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Behavior Skills Training (BST), and Experimental Functional Analysis (EFA). Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Ability to interpret and implement policies, procedures, and regulations. Consistently demonstrate good judgment and decision‑making skills. Maintain a customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and work cooperatively with a variety of individuals and groups. Relate well to children and their families and maintain a positive affect. Exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive documentation appropriately. Pass a post‑offer physical examination and a TB test. Provide proof of required vaccinations or a positive titer showing immunity; a signed declination may be acceptable for certain vaccinations. Obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.
