Work Environment\nThis position allows for a remote work environment, enabling you to maintain work-life balance while still providing essential services to our patients. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility necessary to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient and develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Implement various evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to promote healing and progress. \n
- Lead psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health concerns, creating a community for individuals facing similar challenges. \n
- Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a unified approach to patient care. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating calmness and professionalism under pressure. \n
- Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records, adhering to legal and ethical standards within the mental health field. \n
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development. \n
- Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to enhance therapeutic practices. \n
The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals struggling with varying degrees of mental health issues, such as adolescents facing anxiety and depression, adults dealing with life transitions, and families navigating challenges associated with substance abuse. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia. \n
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities. \n
- Demonstrable skill in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans. \n
- A history of successfully delivering therapy to diverse populations, exhibiting cultural competence. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, essential for building trust with patients. \n
- Strong ethical judgment, maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications. \n
- A collaborative spirit, ready to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. \n

- A minimum of one year of experience in a therapeutic setting, preferably in outpatient mental health. \n
- Experience facilitating group therapy sessions is highly desirable. \n
- Involvement in community outreach or education regarding mental health services. \n
