Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care
• Manage patient ratios of 3:1 for Step-down and 4:1 for Telemetry, with nursing staff bearing primary responsibility for patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or compact license eligibility
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Stepdown clinical setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage intermediate to high-acuity patients
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to supervise delegated care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or telemetry environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
