General Position Summary Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics. Provide consistent, documented appraisal of an associate’s sales performance; give feedback on areas of strength and opportunity while aligning with company objectives. Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Company Dress Code Policy. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Generate Sales Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics. Document and appraise associate sales performance; provide feedback on strength and opportunities. Adhere to visual guidelines, including merchandising, signage, and cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy. Control Expenses Protect company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules that provide proper coverage while keeping wages within company guidelines. Accurately manage inventory, including receiving, transferring, price adjustments, and product counts. Document and record store operations per LIDS Retail policies and applicable laws. Open and close the store following procedures per the Operations P&P Manual. Support and adhere to all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities Supervise Associates Participate in LIDS training programs; adhere to set sales and task goals and follow up regularly. Recruit and train store personnel on proper operations. Enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines for inventory, funds, and property safety. Perform work of subordinates as needed. Communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Job Required Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience. Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication. Computer proficiency and software usage skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead. Standing required for up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary by skill, experience, and location.
