Director of Behavioral Health

DIRECTOR OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH - Enid, OK Horizon Health is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK. This unit is a 15 bed mental health program. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of a high-quality treatment program, the development and implementation of a comprehensive community relations program, and strategic planning, program administration, and development. Responsibilities Performs as liaison between Program, Hospital and Horizon; communicating information and needs appropriately Supports Hospital and Horizon missions, goals and objectives Provides leadership and direction in accordance with Hospital guidelines Provides clinical supervision for Program nursing, counseling, patient support and administrative staff Develops, in coordination with assigned VP, Clinical Practice, implements and updates all policies and procedures for the Program In coordination with the Hospital, ensures the Program meets and maintains all federal, state, local and accrediting bodies’ regulations and standards Participates in assessing and reassessing the program needs of the patient Supervises all patient care and sets guidelines for accurately reporting and recording of patient symptoms, reactions, and progress Develops processes to audit and coordinate ongoing education to ensure all staff are trained on proper documentation of all aspects of the patient’s care Recruits, interviews, and selects qualified staff for the Program Provides for professional growth and development of staff through identification of needs, development of individual training plans and participation in training programs Benefit Highlights Competitive Compensation Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Plan 401(K) with company match and discounted stock plan Long and Short-term Disability Flexible Spending Accounts; Healthcare Savings Account Life Insurance Career development opportunities within the company Tuition Assistance Rewarding work environment About Universal Health Services Universal Health Services, Inc.
