About the Position

Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 10:30 AM. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Unit covered with call on holidays.

Highlights:

• High-acuity PACU unit providing post-operative care for diverse surgical specialties including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery cases
• Cerner electronic medical record system utilized for documentation and clinical workflows
• Contract assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years recent PACU experience
• Structured environment with dedicated Charge Nurse and Supervisor oversight to support clinical excellence
• Night shift schedule offering consistent weekday hours with no weekend obligations
• Holiday requirements include 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience required
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment
