Manufacturing Planner I – Engineering Rapid Build Services (ERBS) Location: Tucson, Arizona Eligibility Onsite position. U.S. Citizenship required. Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required prior to start date. Responsibilities Actively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures. Participate in engineering design reviews. Manage and maintain build configuration and quality history records. Acquire, track, and manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test sets. Assist in resolving manufacturing issues and oversee delivery of final products to internal and external customers. Qualifications Typical requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM). Less than 2 years of prior relevant engineering experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, and electro‑mechanical assemblies. Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering laboratory environment. Experience with material procurement. U.S. Citizen with active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware. Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings. Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications.
