We have an opportunity in our Pawcatuck, Connecticut location for a Packer-Crater to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This position is responsible for the expediting materials in our Shipping & Receiving department. Key Responsibilities include: Plan and construct special and nonstandard skids, crates, and containers. Pack according to domestic and/or overseas shipment requirements. Check product for protection of machine areas, coverage, etc. Weigh, mark and identify shipments. Process all paperwork to be included and all items included. Performs all rigging and movement of machines to shipping. Load to carrier vehicles, block and secure for proper transit. Operate woodworking machines to cut components of skids, crates, and containers.
