We are employee owned and relationship powered.Based out of our Walker, MI facility, the person in this position would assist pulling and preparing customer orders, performing final quality checks, and ensuring timely delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stockAssist in pulling slabs and sort for productionAccounts for and sorts incoming deliveries and stages them appropriatelyAssist Production Manager in facilitating parts from the shop to the appropriate branch/divisionAssists in keeping shop and supplies in stockAssists the rest of the shop team in terms of shop cleanliness and maintenanceAssists other shop members with moving tops and basic shop work flowAt Lumbermen's, our business is built on relationships.
