Director Of EngineeringThe Marker San Francisco is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our hotel's Engineering department. This is a hands on leadership role where you will lead the team while remaining actively involved in the day to day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the property.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and develop the Engineering teamOversee preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systemsRemain hands on with troubleshooting, repairs, and daily engineering needsManage vendors, contractors, service agreements, and project bidsOversee the engineering budget, capital projects, and cost saving initiativesMaintain the hotel's guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and overall physical conditionEnsure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, internal audits, and Crescent standardsQualifications4+ years of progressive hotel engineering or facilities experiencePrevious Director of Engineering, Assistant Director, Chief Engineer, or similar leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of preventative maintenance and hotel building systemsExperience leading teams and managing vendors and contractorsStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredValid driver's license requiredAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededCompensation & Benefits$145,000 to $160,000 annual salary20% Quarterly Bonus Potential + 15% Annual Bonus Potential401K matching program$150 monthly cell phone stipend$104 monthly commuter benefitDry cleaning servicesExclusive discounts at Crescent managed properties across North America for you and your familyPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records for employment.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
