This is a full-time night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with a rotating schedule and self-scheduling options , providing both flexibility and leadership opportunities.

Experience a consistent work rhythm with every other weekend off and no on-call duties. While a background in Labor & Delivery is preferred, we encourage experienced RNs who are eager to advance their careers and lead with excellence to apply. Compensation

Pay Range: $32.77 - $52.43 per hour

Compensation is determined by various factors, including relevant experience, labor market conditions, and other qualifications. The stated pay range reflects what the organization reasonably anticipates offering at the time of posting, but actual pay may vary as permitted by law.

Job Summary

The Charge RN will provide leadership and coordinate staffing within the unit, ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, educate, and supervise nursing and support staff during the assigned shift.
• Conduct assessments of daily patient care needs and allocate patient care assignments accordingly, ensuring appropriate care is provided.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers to achieve quality outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify issues affecting desired outcomes.
• Address complaints regarding patient care and manage them through established protocols.
• Provide input on hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate in a safe manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation

Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensing.

Experience

A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse is required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent oral communication and standing/walking.
• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry.
• Regular use of vision for near and far distances, as well as color differentiation.
• Frequent use of smell and hearing for communication and safety alerts.
• Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25-50 lbs and moving patients.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and other physical movements.
• Rare crawling and running.

Licenses and Certifications

Must possess the following certifications based on the state of work location:

• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State-specific licensing body
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent certification (NRP, PALS) - American Heart Association or American Academy of Pediatrics
