Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full time (40 hours) Evening shift (12:30pm- 9pm and 2:30pm- 11pm), rotating weekends, some holidays. May have to rotate overnights. Here’s What You Need: High School Diploma or Equivalent required RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire required Sterile IV Certification highly preferred 2 years of Retail Pharmacy experience highly preferred Prior inpatient hospital experience highly preferred Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra. The ability to work alone and as part of a team. Here’s What You Will Do: Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location. Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time. Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel.
