DevOps Engineer

SeeScan is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong automation tool and script development experience. This is a fully onsite position located in San Diego. Compensation The salary range for our DevOps Engineer position is $80,000to$130,000 annually. This range represents a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization. In this position, you will Use creative problem-solving skills to close gaps between software development, testing, quality assurance, and support Identify opportunities for process automation in software development and IT operations, using AI-driven tools where appropriate Design, deploy, and monitor automations that improve productivity, reduce errors, and streamline workflows Promote continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) Improve system reliability, scalability, and availability with inventive approaches that balance efficiency with strict security requirements Build and optimize integrations that simplify user experience and enhance organizational effectiveness Maintain onsite presence to facilitate direct engagement with cross-functional teams and operations Programs and tools C# GitLab Docker AWS Ubuntu, Windows, and Mac OS PowerShell Apache / Nginx Postman Let’s Encrypt Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and tools (e.g., for code generation, testing, monitoring, and workflow automation) About you Eager to experiment with emerging technologies to solve complex technical challenges Strong communicator and collaborator, able work across multiple teams in adopting new processes and technologies Flexible and adaptable in managing simultaneous changes to various parts of a system Big-picture perspective to consider our organization’s entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements Your background Experience working in a DevOps environment, especially with introducing or evolving DevOps practices using AI or automation enhancements B.S. in CS, CE, or similar with relevant experience About SeeScan Beneath the ground and below the water’s surface is a world out of sight.
