Billing SpecialistKavaliro is seeking a Billing Specialist to support a client in Florida.Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceives and imports weekly electronic client service data files from multiple locationsPrepares and submits invoices through electronic or non-electronic means to ensure processing and paymentProcesses claim submission files and submit to multiple payers and clearinghousesUploads and EDI 999, 277 and 835 files from multiple sourcesWorks with providers to correct and resubmit rejected and denied claimsPosts payments manually when requiredAnswers claims callsFollows up with Accounts ReceivableResearches Claim in detailOther duties as assignedRequired SkillsStrong organizational, quantitative and analytical skillsDemonstrated accuracy with a strong attention to detailExcellent work ethic and ability to prioritize tasksDetailed and process improvement orientedExcellent problem solving skillsAbility to present findings and discuss issues with providers effectivelyAbility to work independently and as a part of a team in a deliverable-focused professional environmentAbility to shift focus as necessary when priorities change without losing sight of original assignmentsExperience in MS Office products, particularly excelKavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
