Procurement Specialist

Our modular design client is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join their growing team! In this role, you’ll work closely with Design, Estimating, Production, and Receiving to make sure the right materials arrive at the right time—and at the right cost. You’ll also help improve procurement processes, build strong vendor relationships, and bring more structure and efficiency to a growing operation. Responsibilities Manage purchasing for active construction projects, the shop, and office Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing Coordinate procurement needs with Estimating and Production Track materials, deliveries, costs, and purchasing forecasts Improve purchasing processes, SOPs, and workflows Review BOMs and construction drawings to ensure accurate purchasing Oversee and coach the Receiving team Manage vendor returns, refunds, and inventory replenishment Identify opportunities to make procurement smarter, faster, and more cost-effective Requirements 2-3 years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience Experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related industry Strong organization and attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to read construction drawings and Bills of Materials Modular construction experience is a plus, not required #J-18808-Ljbffr Emergent Professional Resources L.P.
