Make a positive impact on student success as a dedicated school psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Seattle, WA. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with passionate educators and help students reach their fullest potential by providing comprehensive psychological support and guidance.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience with assessment, counseling, intervention, and consultation in school settings
- Proficient in administering a range of psychological assessments and interpreting results
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with diverse students, teachers, families, and staff
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and emotional well-being
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Offer professional development and support for faculty regarding student mental health issues and positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies
