Cyber Operations Readiness Assessment Systems Engineer/Reviewer (Linux)

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct reviews of Linux systems for STIG compliance and secure configuration. Execute vulnerability scans using ACAS and validate remediation efforts. Assess endpoint security tools (Tanium, Trellix) for proper deployment and configuration. Review containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) for secure configuration and compliance. Provide technical support for STIG implementation and ATO documentation. Develop assessment reports and provide prioritized remediation strategies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility Certifications Required: DoD 8140/8570 requirements for IAT Level III (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CAP, CASP+) Must have 8 - 10 years of experience Education: BS (or 4 additional years of experience) Overview We are seeking a Cyber Operations Readiness Assessment (CORA) Senior Reviewer to join our team supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Fort Belvoir, VA.
