Speech Language Pathologists- Early Intervention

Wai'anae Coast Early Childhood Services is currently offering exciting opportunities for full-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), as well SLP ready to work under a provisional license for their Clinical Fellowship Year, to provide early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays, in the Wahiawa and Waipahu areas through Parent Child Development Centers (PCDC) . The SLP will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing services using a Primary Service Provider/Coaching model to work with families in the home setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Administering developmental evaluations (Batelle Developmental Inventory (BDI), Developmental Assessment of Young Children (DAY-C)) Writing reports Assist with the development of child’s service plan, setting goals to support the child’s progress toward developmental milestones Provide consultation and coaching to families and team members Timely and accurate documentation Requirements: A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Clinical Competence Certificate and Hawaii SLP License, OR a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology with Provisional licensing to practice under an SLP-CCC for the candidate's Clinical Fellowship Year. PCDC offers an opportunity for SLP-CFY candidates to receive their supervision in the course of their employment. Access to a personal vehicle to be used for work daily, driver’s license, and proof of insurance, are requirements to be considered for this position. Experience with infants and toddlers highly preferred.
