A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney licensed in South Carolina to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience and will work closely with an experienced partner to represent corporate and insurer clients on workers' compensation claims.

Duties

• Evaluate and advise clients on workers' compensation claims.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Communicate with client and claims representatives.
• Create and submit required client reports.
• Prepare motions and briefs to support client positions.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Minimum of two years of workers' compensation defense experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
