Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to install, maintain, and repair a wide range of electrical and electronic systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will utilize schematics, AC/DC systems, and PLCs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Utilize schematics, AC/DC systems, and PLCs for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Provide assistance in operating functions as necessary.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members or work independently in various plant locations.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with industrial electrical wiring.
• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and electrical maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical repair skills.
• Welding experience.

Work Environment

Work in various areas within the plant, which may include hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy conditions. You may work alone with minimal supervision or collaborate with other maintenance team members.

This is a Permanent position based out of Granite City, IL.

The pay range for this position is $71427.00 - $79747.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Union Benefits once probationary period is met (1040) hours)

This is a fully onsite position in Granite City,IL.
