Position Summary
The Resident Service Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming, connected, and engaging community for residents. This role coordinates resident events and activities, builds relationships with residents and local organizations, and leads community outreach efforts designed to increase resident engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute resident events, activities, programs, and community gatherings.
• Develop creative programming that encourages resident participation and builds a strong sense of community.
• Conduct regular community outreach to residents, local businesses, nonprofits, and other community partners.
• Build positive relationships with residents and serve as a friendly, accessible point of contact.
• Promote upcoming events and programs through email, flyers, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
• Gather resident feedback and identify opportunities to improve community programs and services.
• Coordinate event logistics, including vendors, supplies, schedules, setup, and cleanup.
• Partner with local organizations and businesses to create opportunities and resources for residents.
• Track event attendance and engagement and provide feedback on successful programs and areas for improvement.
• Assist with resident concerns, questions, and service requests, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Support initiatives that promote resident retention, satisfaction, and overall quality of life.
• Maintain an organized calendar of resident activities and community outreach efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in resident services, community engagement, property management, hospitality, customer service, event planning, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and building relationships.
• Creative, outgoing, and enthusiastic approach to community programming.
• Ability to manage multiple events, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends to support resident events.
