Job Description

About us

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Abacoa is your neighborhood pet store: a full-service grooming salon, healthy food and supplies, and a bakery case full of fresh-baked treats. We’re a small team that treats every pet like family, and we’re looking for a apprentice groomer to join us.

What you’ll do

Learn grooming hands-on alongside our experienced groomers
Bathe, brush, and dry dogs and help with nail trims
Keep the salon clean, stocked, and running smoothly
Help pet parents at drop-off and pick-up

What we’re looking for

Bathing or pet care experience: preferred
Complete a paid training program (about 12 weeks)
Completes the Woof Gang apprentice program
Can lift dogs up to 50 lbs with help
A genuine love of dogs and cats, and patience with nervous pets
Reliable, friendly, and good at working as part of a small team

Pay and schedule

Full-time, 35–40 hours per week
Pay: $15–$17 per hour
Shifts: mornings, afternoons and weekends
Start date: 2026-10-08
