Prep LaborerThe Prep Laborer will be responsible for grinding down welds and preparing them for paint application. This involves sanding and grinding sheet metal, washing it, and racking parts for the paint line. The position provides opportunities to advance into industrial painting.ResponsibilitiesGrind and sand welds on sheet metal.Wash and prepare metal parts for painting.Rack parts for the paint line.Maintain attention to detail to ensure metal is ready for painting.Work with a respirator and complete a fitting test.Adapt to working in a mildly dusty and production environment.Essential Skills1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in paint line prepping or racking.Ability to stand all day and lift 30-50 lbs regularly.Attention to detail.Comfortable working with a respirator and in dusty environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with sanding, prepping, racking, grinding, taping, masking, and general labor.Good cleaning skills and familiarity with paint prep.Why Work Here?Employees receive a signing bonus, excellent benefits, and opportunities for raises upon permanent employment.
