About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: New York

Schedule: 2:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department with diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Experience with Epic EMR system required
• Unit features 40 acute beds, 6 super track, 2 trauma bays, 10 CDU beds, 6 psych beds, and 2 triage areas
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• Floating to other units may be required

Requirements:

• Active New York State RN License
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric patient exposure
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Experience administering critical medications including pressors (Levophed, Neo, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Dopamine), vasodilators (Cleviprex, Cardene, NTG), anti-arrhythmics (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Lidocaine), and sedation medications (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl), as well as TNK, Heparin, and Insulin drips
• Familiarity with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
