Our neurosurgery, general neurology, and stroke patients are covered 24/7 by an in-house Nurse Practitioner or Resident. We are Barnes-Jewish Hospital's innovation unit and partner with the in-house research department to fine-tune new products and workflows before their release across the organization.11300 opened in 2016 and was built with the latest healthcare technologies in mind. All beds have a vital sign machine built into the wall next to the bed that allows information to flow over into the EMR. Patient lifts are built into the ceilings of all private rooms, and we utilize E-Sitters to promote patient safety. We also have a variety of patient care tools such as a bladder scanner, vein finder, urine refractometer, and more to assist in the assessment and care of our patients.
