Purchasing CoordinatorManages the day-to-day procurement operations, processes purchase orders, and coordinates deliveries between internal teams and suppliersResponsibilities:Order Processing: Generates, reviews, and tracks purchase orders, requisitions, and change orders for accuracy.Vendor Coordination: Communicates with suppliers to request price quotes, negotiate basic terms, and confirm delivery schedules.Problem Resolution: Investigates and resolves delivery discrepancies, damaged goods, or invoice and billing issues.Record Keeping: Maintains updated pricing, vendor databases, and complete purchasing files or reports.Internal Support: Collaborates with internal departments (like shipping, warehouse, or finance) to make sure departmental needs are met.Requirements:Prior experience entering purchase orders and communicating directly with the clients on updates on the order and status on delivery.High school diploma or an associate's/bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or a related field.1 to 3+ years of clerical, administrative, or purchasing experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or procurement software.
