2W MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Nights

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our 2W MS/Tele unit. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with various diagnoses, including sepsis, UTI, AKI, pneumonia, cholecystitis, and CHF.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor and manage vital signs and patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Perform required nursing procedures and maintain a safe environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting preferred.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact state.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required. ACLS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
