Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA)

J O B S U M M A R Y

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you'll carry out treatment plans developed by our occupational therapists, working directly with clients to help them reach their goals. You'll document each session, track progress, and communicate with the supervising OT so goals and milestones can be adjusted for the best possible outcomes.

R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

• Deliver therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans and report client progress to the supervising OT
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of client care and outcomes
• Work closely with clients and families to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success
• Prepare treatment materials and maintain a safe, organized therapy space

Requirements:

  Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S

• Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• NBCOT certification
• Alaska state licensure (or eligibility)
• Passion for helping clients reach their functional and daily living goals
• Strong charting, documentation, and organizational skills
• Comfortable with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.)
• Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
