Customer Service Operations Coordinator — Remote, St. Louis Area Residents Only

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Operations Coordinator to support our client’s Customer Support Team. This position is remote; however, candidates must currently reside in the Greater St. Louis area and have previous experience working remotely.

Position Details

• Pay: $24–$26 per hour
• Location: Remote — must currently reside in the Greater St. Louis, Missouri/Illinois area.
• Schedule: Initially Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility to work earlier or later hours and provide Saturday or Sunday coverage as business needs require.
• Assignment: Contract position; duration is currently undetermined.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor incoming cases in Salesforce Service Cloud and determine whether they belong with the team or another internal group.
• Route cases to the appropriate departments or Customer Service Representatives based on the request and established procedures.
• Send load tenders to third-party warehouse partners and follow up to ensure order confirmations are received.
• Review reports identifying delayed loads, locate the associated customer information, and create and route cloned Salesforce cases for follow-up.
• Monitor incoming emails and related requests, with most daily work completed within Salesforce.
• Maintain accurate case information and process assigned work promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to clarify requests, resolve questions, and communicate progress or potential delays.
• Take on additional case management, order entry, and operational support responsibilities as training progresses and business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on Salesforce experience, including working with cases; familiarity with Salesforce Service Cloud is especially relevant.
• Previous experience working in a remote position is required.
• Must currently reside in the Greater St. Louis area.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage daily priorities, and remain responsive and engaged with a remote team.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including copying and pasting data, working with spreadsheets and reports, and using basic formulas.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize incoming work.
• Clear written communication skills and a proactive approach to sharing updates, asking questions, and requesting clarification.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying engaged and responsive to the team.
• Willingness to learn established workflows and adapt as responsibilities expand.
• Flexibility to support schedule changes and weekend coverage as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP experience is a strong plus.
• Previous experience in customer service operations, logistics, transportation, warehouse coordination, or order management.
• Prior experience working successfully in a remote role.
