Program Manager, Biostatistics & Data Science

Salary: $81,000 - 121,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree is required.
• Seven years of relevant experience and/or specialized training may be accepted in place of the education requirement.
• Three years of relevant professional experience is required.
• Preferred qualifications include a strong understanding of HIPAA and other patient data privacy and security regulations.
• Experience with database structures and query logic is preferred.
• Experience with data modeling, ontologies, multiple data schemas, clinical data standards such as ICD-10, LOINC, and RxNorm, and transport protocols including FHIR is preferred.

• We create and oversee projects, including goals, schedules, deliverables, and key milestones.
• We assess program needs and provide recommendations.
• We develop and put policies and procedures into practice while ensuring compliance with existing standards.
• We manage budgets, prepare contracts, approve and track spending, and produce budget requests and financial reports.
• We serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and community organizations.
• We develop grant proposals by identifying information sources, coordinating submissions and collections, and communicating proposal-related risks.
• We compile and format grant proposals, revise and edit drafts, and maintain quality through templates and proposal-writing standards.
• We complete informed consent with patients and learners in the clinical setting.
• We may prepare and edit reports, newsletters, and publication materials.
• We may provide direct or indirect supervision of exempt and non-exempt staff, including hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and time-off approvals.

We are seeking a full-time Program Manager for the Artificial Intelligence and Informatics Office and 2-Sigma Lab to help manage, design, develop, and continuously improve these programs.
